Horace Vernall’s career in education began in 1981 at Tettenhall College in the UK, where he was a housemaster and teacher of economics and business studies for 11 years. His extensive experience in international education commenced in 1992 and, during a period spanning more than 25 years, he has held several different international management positions in Africa, the Middle East and South-East Asia. Having previously completed 10 years as the School Principal of one of the leading British international schools in Kuwait and serving as an executive member of the British Schools of the Middle East group [BSME], in August 2015, he became the Founding School Principal of TH School, Hanoi. He was instrumental in developing the school’s strategic and financial plan, including the process of governmental approval, staff recruitment and curriculum development.
From 2017, he established Vietnam Education Consultants Ltd. to source and develop educational opportunities throughout Vietnam and cultivate partnerships between institutions and investors within Vietnam and internationally. As the Founder and Managing Director of the company, he has responsibility for the overall management, strategic planning and key client relationships.
